- I put the eggs milk sugar and cool melted margarine in blender for like a minute but you can whisk as well….
- Pour the mixture in a bowl add the essence then mix.
- Put the flour,cinnamon, baking powder in a sieve then sieve them into the above mixture.
- Using a mwiko fold in the mixture slowly like you do Ugali until everything is mixed well.
- Grease your baking tin with margarine or oil if you have grease paper the better but if you don't have no worries just grease the tin sprinkle little flour.
- Pour in the mixture.
- Using Jiko or gas the heat should be on low not very hot place a sufuria put abit of stones or sand (prefer stones just like 3 or 4).
- Place the tin with the mixture cover with lid or another sufuria if using jiko place some of the charcoal on top of lid it'll help with the browning.
- Give it 40-50mins avoid opening to check before time…after time up you can check by using a knife if it comes out clean your cake is ready.
- Remove put on a rack to cool..once cooled serve.
